i think i looked it up on mapquest one time and it's between 500 and 600 miles. not exactly across the country but pretty damn far.

well it'll be a while before i actually get a swap. first i have to sell the integra, which hopefully won't take too long. right after that comes the hard part...finding a decent civic shell for around $2,000 or under. then the fun part...ordering the swap and having it installed.

if i was making my swap decision right now i'd be going with a b20z and gsr/itr tranny, if i can find a b20z that is. no luck yet.
i dunno if you found a shell yet but corey is selling a civic with a zc in it for $2500 in the classifieds section. a lil over $2k but its a clean decent hatch!

600 miles in gas so if you got 200 miles to the tank you would pay what like 40 bucks in gas...

40 bux>>>>>>>>1000 dollars for labor

gas must be cheaper where you live...it'd be about $60-$70 for three tanks down here.

anyway...suppose i did wanna go up and get eric to help me. the shell i'm going to get is either gonna have a blown engine or a shitload of miles. it'd either have to get towed up there or i'd be driving an at least somewhat unreliable car 600 miles. i don't wanna do either.

on the other hand if i was going to do this i could try and find a shell somewhere in MD and get it towed to eric's. i could fly up there, and then if the swap (hopefully) worked out well i'd drive it back home.

too many if's in this scenario for me. besides i think i may have found a good shell to get, and also met some guys hardcore into civics that may can help me w/ the swap. we'll see...
