I have a 96 dx hatch w/ d16y7
I will be swapping in a b18c1

I have :
motor, tranny, axles, ecu, shift linkage, wire harness, cat from B18c1
I purchased 99-00 si rear tranny mount, 99-00si driver side mount bracket.

Cosidering purchasing an EX wire harness for ease of wiring..
I beleive that with this EX harness all i'll have to add for wires is the Knock, and IAB... ? correct?

Am i missing anything.. ??

you will need a Bseries front tranny mount.
you need to re wire you IACV to a 2 wire from the 3 wire setup that currently in your car.
Don't buy another harness Just re wire yours.
you will need to extend your o2's wiring also.
Just let meself or Mdlax know if you need help, We've both done alot of swaping in the last few months.

So the mount that came with the engine will work, right?

Use the IACV connector from the B, and leave the 3'rd unused wire out correct?

What kind of wire is acceptable for this? Radioshack have anything?

I hear you! When i'm doing all my research for the swap in my 6th gen, i always come across information for swaps into 5th gens.. and i'm always thinking... man why does it have to be sooooo much more difficult with the 6th gen.. *sigh*

Anyway.. it'll still be a fun challenge.. it's just the wiring that could give me some headaches. Not looking forward to that.

Thanks for all the feedback!

My car was a piece of cake to do except rewiring the dual piont wiring sucked a little. I thought about doing a K20 swap in a EF CRX, we had a customer come in with a hydo locked motor and is selling it dirt cheap. How hard do you guys think that would be? I heard there's a kit for it now.
