The H22 seems almost non existant among civic drivers. I see more accords with them than anybody.
Really though, If your gonna swap Bo or are planning on doing so in the future. Buy an LS motor and build, Use your resources to help you along the way. You have many CL members at hand, and the website to help you along the way. If you dont feel like doing so, then just go with a B18c1. Good bang for the buck and a very reliable motor. LSVTEC puts down damn good numbers but I'd have a secondary car lined up if I did so.. just my 02. |

Doesn't take that much money, just the right brackets. I was actually going to do the swap in my car and design brackets to sell, but I got beaten to the punch.

... ??? exactly, and on that note about me and MY swap already since it has nothing to do with the subject at hand. I've never seen one person bitch and whine about a motor sucking so bad when you've probably never even driven one. Like I said before, find someone with that swap performed, and drive it, you'll be surprised at how many rumors arent true about that motor in that chassis.

They handle fine with the right suspension components. I know someone who autocrossed the shit out of an EG hatch with an H22.

You Talk about me bitching and whining? Who was the one that went on bitching about a fucking d swap snd about how it didn't work out so they just fucking quit. When my shit has gone bad,i haven't come on here to bitch and cry about it.I sure as shit didn't quit either.Fix it and move on. SO on that note,i guess i should put it this way,for my money,if i had a civic i would stick with a b series motor over an h. Bo,if ya have the money,go for it,but make sure it is done right and don't cut any corners. |
