Has anyone ever built one of these? Any idea how strong sleeves are? Do they share parts with rest of b-series engine's? It's non vtec ...

My dad has 2 motors in his shop and I can get them for free was curious they are worth my time or sld I go with standard B-series blocks. They come out of 88-91 Prelude's it that helps anyone. What do you guys think? Is the .1 liter worth bothering with or what?

That motor is terrible. Don't waste your time. You're better off with anything else Bseries...B16/17/18/20.

But why is it such a bad motor? I mean if I was to resleeve it what other faults are there to not build it.. That is only prob I have heard about it. Do hardly no parts fit it or what? Not that I not trust ya judgement dubcac just want to know actualy reasoning behind this thinking. From what I have read its just sleeves so it seems that it extra liter then if doing B20 with vtec head swap

same as any other b series block...the only prob is most of them are old and beat up...aluminum will, like anything else, lose its strength. So...i guess if your gunna get it and sleeve it it wouldnt be any better or worse than an early b18a...i dunno though i think i would hold off and buy a newer b18 and sleeve it.

I've heard conflicting things about the B20/21A's...some people say they aren't like the other bseries, and don't have interchangeable parts...some say they do. I don't know for sure, because I've never worked on one. However, the motors are pretty old and beat up like you said, and the R/S ratio with that B21 crank is terrible.

I assuming r/s means revs a sec...Are the cranks interchangeable? IDK if this is complete waste or time but want to find out..besides fact that is older it may just be redhead step child...takes beatin but still a good kid.

R/S means rod to stroke ratio, and it affects the revvability of the motor.

From what I understand, they are closer to the f series motors than the b's. They are the black sheep of the b series motors and I would stay away from it.
