is it possible to drop the 250hp s2000 engine in a honda civic? i know the civic is FWD and teh s2000 is RWD but...could it be possible to get the axle for that and just drop it in? or is that just completely dumb...

it's been done, not realistic though. Get a type R (200+ hp) FWD, or a rsx-s (215?/200) i know someone selling one for 4 g

yes the idea is dumb.


it would be completely unbalanced and not to mention the fab work involved in making a car thats FWD into RWD is god awful insane... its like when we were kids we used to be like OH YEA!! WELL MY CAR WILL HAVE 6 TURBOS SO THEY CAN PUT UP LIKE 5000 HORSEPOWER TO TEH WHEELS!!11one

ive seen a acura legend motor dropped into a 5g, that sounds more price realistic

you won't hit that all motor. you'll have to resleeve the block and get forged everything just about. you'll also need a somewhat big(yet efficient) turbo.

Yup. The car was running 12 all day long just when it had the stock S2000 engine.

After they threw on the turbo, it was planned to go 10's easy. I guess we will find out for sure next year.
