hey everyone I'm new to the forum, lots of cool info
any body know where the post about the legend v6 in a civic is? I have an 89 civic HB and I've been wondering if I could put a legend V6 and tranny in it that I have sitting in my garage? |

i think i saw a civic on ebay a while back that had this swap, and was boosted. engine bay was tighter than balls.

Thanx for the replies. I am new to the import cars, but I have done several motor swaps on domestic trucks mostly blazers and s-10(V8) that type of thing. Here is my next question, I have access to a machine shop so if the overall dimensions (motor to engine bay) work I can make up brackets, mounts etc. what I need to know is how interchangable are the cv's,spindles calipers and steering from Acura to Honda?

it depends on the type of motor/trans to the wheel base of the car. the lengend axles i can imagine are a bit longer than a stock 89 hatch which is one of the smallest honda's ever. most likely you'll have to get custom ones
