do not go w/the itr cams, you will not like them with boost. i ditched mine and did what your friend had told you to do, as i sold the itr's out of my head, and went with gsr's. deffinetly a difference after tuning. i havent changed anything else on the head, and i dont think youd have to either with the amount of boost youd be running. the headgasket wouldnt be a bad idea though. i did pay $1400 for a brand new ITR head off of honda-tech that was bare. After buying cam gears, intake manifold,and valve cover. it ran about 1900 for what ive got, but since then i did sell the cams for $300ish and got gsrs for about $100. i really do like how it runs. if you do end up buying one. do not change your head until you are ready to get tuned, as it will not run right as you might think. since you are going to supercharge, id throw it on as you do your supercharger. all-motor the head gained me about 25-30hp at the wheels after tuning. no telling how much it is helping me as compared to the stock head now that i have turbo'd it. if you dont have the money for one, id just do a good port job for now, and get the gsr cams.
