i just got a motor and was wondering what the numbers on the block stand for mine are 1101827

Thats just a seriel number and doesn't mean anything, If you look right above the number you posted you will see a code like this B18B1
. The first letter is what series block it is. (D,B,H,F,K ect) The next two numbers tell you the size of the block. (15 = 1.5L, 22 = 2.2L ect.) The next letter is harder to explain, It's kind like the modle of the block series) (b,c,a,z,y ect) And the last number is the generation of the block i believe again this is a hard one to explain. So the B18B1 block is a 1.8L LS nonvtec motor. A B18c1 would be a 1.8L GSR vtec motor. I think we have a list in the faq section. Anyway post up what you code is and we'll let you know what you have. |
