Ok guys so were swapping my blown up d16y8 engine out of my 2000 civic and putting in my jdm d15b i got for pretty cheap. Now i know its (obd1 JDM engine) and i have obd2 wiring harness running it, but i have a jumper harness or whatever so i can run a obd1 ecu. I had a p28 ecu in there with hondata when the car was turbo'd. And the guy from the local shop said we should be able to use the obd2 distributer on the new engine b/c the harness was letting me run obd1 ecu earlier on same distributer. (running the new ecu that came with the engine now..) Anyways so we have everything bolted in wired up..... But we cant get car start up. We got fuel, spark, air...... and it is turning over just not starting up. Any ideas would be a huge help. I looked into rywire.com to see if i needed a distributer adapter, but i see they dont make one from obd2 to 1... so i dunno...
THANKS GUYS! ALso im using my y8 intake manifold on the new engine.. |

well...firing order...timing belt...theres no wiring to be done as long as you have the proper jumper harnesss...make sure you dont have the map and the tps switched...man...i dunno...theres a lot of possibilities.
