Thumbs up

Hey guys I got a question. I just recieved my motor, its a B16A gen2 OBD1 cable tranny version . It came with grey plugs, which means its its OBD1. I was wanting to know if I can use the wiring from a 92-93 Integra to get this swap going in a 90 Honda Civic STD? I got a wrecked 92-93 Integra that was hit in the back, but the front end is still good with no motor. But the wiring is still there. I want to be able to run OBD1 and use the OBD1 ECU, instead of running OBD0. Has anybody tried putting together a OBD0-OBD1 harness? Or do I have to buy a OBD0-OBD1 conversion harness?

so u got a b16a2 w/cable tranny? is that whatcha tryn to say?
if it just says b16a on it then its a first generation b16.

anyways, i wouldn't recomend using the integra wiring harness..
if you use your stock harness from the 90 std, it would be alot easier seeing that its made for it..

you still gotta add i believe its 8 wires. 4 for vtec and 4 more for the dpfi to mpfi conversion. Once you get to there, then you gotta wire from obd 1 to non-obd. it can be done.. all though i dont think u should use the teg wiring harness..

did your motor come with a wiring harness on it? and ecu? if so let me know what they are.. pm me if ya need more help or just reply here.

and what's wrong with this? all you kids need to stop believeing everything your friends tell you. a 2nd gen B16 CAN come with a cable tranny. In fact, that's what's in my coupe right now.

And FYI, ALL JDM B16A's only say B16A on them

I would think that you could use the stuff from the 92-93 teg because it's OBDI. 90-91 is OBD0. I'm kind of in the same boat as you with my swap. I've got a OBDII motor that I am gonna swap into my 89 hatch and I've been hearing I can use the OBD0 stuff to make it work. Did you look on Hasport's site? They have OBD conversion stuff on there.
