When i get my swap... im squeezing an H22 under the hood. My question is... will i have to upgrade my radiator (i imagine i would) And if so, can i just get an aftermarket radiator thats the same as the stock size for a 6th gen? Like say a Fluidyne or BeCool? One that flows/cools better?

you can use your stock radiator but a lot of people go w/ the Del Sol VTEC dual core or GSR radiator and a slim line fan.
lots of options, no need to upgrade to a fluidyne IMO. |

Do you NEED to upgrade? NO
SHOULD you upgrade? Absolutely. The H22 creates MUCH more heat than a SOHC. PWR makes EXcellent radiators for a reasonable cost. Also look into getting Redline Water Wetter as an additive to your coolant. 1 bottle will cost you $7 and is well worth the investment. |

Ok.. so the recommendations for PWR are overwhelming... One problem.... i checked out the PWR site..and they dont make a radiator for Honda. And i would imagine it would cost more to have them custom make one for me. How does PWR stand compared to Fluidyne/BeCool?

im doing the h22a into a hatch. since the A/C will be gone, im doing the Fluidine 'Teg radiator. i have some friends that can make a custom bracket to hold everything in place, so i should be all set. the only hard part will be to find tubing to make it work. but i am hoping that will just require patients
