I recently swaped a 1.5 out of my 92 civic dx and installed a 1.6 vtec what do i need to do to make the motor run like a 1.6 . This is my first civic so i need all the help i can get

what do you mean run like a 1.6 ? If you swapped a 1.6 into the car it is going to run like a 1.6

first things first you need a computer made for VTEC, you'll need to run the VTEC wires from the ECU. Chances are you're car doesn't have it run in the harness. Which 1.6? DOHC or SOHC?

also you should put a new clutch assembly in it while it's out.. much easier than waiting. you should be ok after you run the vtec wires and get the correct ecu. Once you get everything installed check your ecu for errors and make sure everythings running ok. what motor dohc or sohc?

pretty sure all 92's have vtec wiring already, plug in a ecu from the d16 and plug in vtec silanoid.
