Okay, two questions.

1. I'm using a JDM b16a, but it came with a P2T ecu. I thought that ecu only came from the 99-00 USDM SI. Do they use it in Japan? Whenever I see JDM b16's being sold, its always with a p30, which they say obd-1 or obd-2 (I don't get how they can run both either).

2. I put this motor in with a friend of mine who's been a mechanic for 11 years, and between us, we could not find the plug for the 2nd 02 sensor. The engine is the last generation made (serial# on the block starts with a 6, obd-2 / harness has grey plugs through the firewall, yada yada). I'm not using a cat, so I don't have the sensor anyway, but I was planning on hooking up an o2 simulator except for that I can't find the plug, AND - I'm not throwing a CEL.
I read on some JDM forum that a JDM ECU won't look for the 2nd sensor, but I don't know if it was true, and if it is, why wouldn't it?

Uh, please help.

so this is my lame answer...

dont worry about it. from how i understand it, the second O2 sensor is not needed on jdm engines at all. i will let you know in a few days for sure. (working on my h22 swap.... for the 4th week straight)

Okay, so here's an update. I was reading the pinout of obd2's in civics/tegs and comparing the wiring to my harness because I didn't add wires to my existing harness, I just extended and use the complete JDM uncut harness that I got. I had said before that I couldn't find a 2nd 02 sensor harness, well, come to find out that there isn't even a wire in the ecu harness plug for it. I guess I might add it, at least for emission time, but which other wires would go there? On the pinout it said that on plug "A" the second column shows one wire for each sensor, but I know there's also a ground, a heated wire, and I think a 4th which is another ground for the heated wire maybe?

So, to add a 2nd sensor, does anyone know where the wires would plug to, or if the 2nd sensor is just power and ground?
