i did a mini me swap and i was wondering on the vtec what do i need to do to get it to work. everything is still a 1.5 d15b2 in a 88 crx. the only thing i changed is the head. the ecu, dist. ,intake manifold is all for the dual point. i have a rpm switch but it is not clear on what way to wire it up.

Your going to need to find the VTEC wires in the ecu, run it from the selniod on the head back to the switch and to the ecu, remember VTEC runs off oil pressure so dont be thinking well i can hit VTEC at 2k, thats not how it works, VTEC points are there for the well being of your motor...

*EDIT* Im not good with wiring (yet) but find a DIY on the net, im sure there are tons of them. Or find someone who has done the same Mini-Me swap and ask them

Hey try this site if you cant figur the wiring on the rpm switch.
http://www.msdignition.com/ there you should be able to find the diagram. If your still dual point then switching to multiport would help your performance some but there is more wiring there. An oil pressure guage would help you in determining what pill to add at what rpm. Your current ecu has no vtec control so if you go mpfi then you could use a better ecu.

What Block or Bottom end are you using? With a mini me you should be using a 1.6L. I am speaking from experance. The 1.5 block is ok but when you get into the higher rpms the block will not handle very well and you will end up blowing something.
