ok-I'm about ready to take a shotgun to the seatbelt warning buzzer/light. I've disconnectted the seatbeat wires under both seats, cut the wires to the buckle and the warning light and buzzer keeps going off regardless of wheather the belts are on or not. As long as the car is running the warning is on constantly . Can anyone please tell me how to disconnect the thing or at least where the buzzer is so I can cut that off?

Also the passenger side automatic shoulder belt is dead in the forward position so only the lap belt can be used. Is there any tricks on where to look or what to do to getting it at least to the rearward position? I just noticed that when the passenger door is open the warning buzzer stops so it is if I can fix the belt it may take care of the buzzer. Any help would be appreciated.

Dave,

I had a similar problem with the buzzer in my Nissan truck . . I'm one to go postal when I can't get that inoying nois to go away. The only thing I can say is to do what I did . . trigger the buzz, crawl under the dash, and listen for it. Your ear will def. be your guide to this one, lol
When you find it, just unplug it!

As for the pass side belt mechinism, the only thing I can think of is to pull the pannels off, look for were the powere wires are to it and dis-connect them. When you've got the wires in your hands, either take a car battery, 12v cordless drill battery, or jump pack and apply 12v to the wires and hope to trigger it back into place.
If it's the track that's shot, you may be s.o.l. on this one. Be a gentleman . . . DON'T FORCE IT!!! It may be jammed up but yanking on it will most likely just F. it up even worse.

Good luck bro!

Thanks Sam. I played around with it yesterday and found the problem sorta. The seat belt buzzing is going off because the passenger retractor is suck in the forward position. When I manually crank it back to rearward position the warning shuts off. Problem is the auto seatbelt mehcanism is only working going forward. When you open the door it goes forward but will not retract when you shut the door. The buzzer sounds again until you manually crank the belt back to the rear position again. What a PITA. Looks like I may have to pull the panals and see whats up. In the mantime I cranked it back and pulled the fuse so it won't keep going forward when you open the door. Thaks again.
