Any of you ever remove your needles from your gauge cluster? I would like to paint them so i can see them a little better and it woudl def help me at night as well.
Any help/info would be sweet. |

The speedometer needle comes off with gentle pressure. Use one of the door panel removers or a flat head screwdriver and go easy. The ones for the fuel and temp have a plastic rod unlike the steel speedometer rod, so if you try to remove the needle, the rod will break, and that whole assembly is trash. Just mask off everything underneath it. I had to buy a new cluster off of ebay because Honda wanted $50 for each assembly, and you can get the whole cluster for under $40 and have something to mess around with.
