so, what's the verdict on these imitation seats, i saw a set on ebay as well, and am thinking of getting a set of the black recaro type-r look-a-likes for my ferio as well. they're way cheaper, look just as good, and come in a set of two with rails. can't beat that. so if anyone has any input on these seats, let me know please! thanks=)

Even if they do come with the rails you are still going to need the brackets to bolt them in, I just picked up a set of racing seats used of some guy who was about to junk his eg hatch, $120! with everything set up to bolt into my coupe. Just watch out those brackets are gonna run about 120-150 shipped, so figure them in on the cost, unless you can weld you could chop up some stock brackets and get them to work.

Just realized...old thread! Anyway I like the seats it just takes a minute to get used to the bolsters if you never had them before, mine are about a year old acoordind to the guy i got them from and seem to be holding up well, I did notice a little sun fading on the driver side but the car did sit for over 7 months in the same spot outside, overall i'm happy, but i did get them very cheap.

I would never trust my life with a bunk ass cheap replica seat, or something like tenzo. And don't bother with seats and harnesses unless you have a roll bar.

sounds like you did get a good deal bro. i saw a set of these wannabe recaro seats on jdm carboy made by NRG...i don't know if they're the same people who do NRG Suspension...anyway, the seats look nice. i figure, they should be just as good as my factory 97 Sedan seats, if not better. well, as far as support and comfort are concerned. not everyone can afford name brand, quality stuff sometimes. however, i did find a site selling Bride seats. and i found one seat for about $400, i forget which model it was though. i think i'll just keep my stock seats for now...i'm trying to find a good pair of seats from an 02-05 Civic Si...i really love the feel of those seats.=) hey dubcac, you know anyone willing to part with their EP Hatch seats? just thought i'd ask.=)

I dont care what anyone says but those seats are PIMP.. I had bought some in full red and have not got the chance to install due to rails issue. but over all i will buy those anyday at that price. Its one of those things that i can explain why pay for a 1000.00 seat when you can get a pair for 400.00 bucks... Seats are seats and both perform the same... =)
