I've got a 98 dx hatch. I will be painting my interior this summer. Id like to have the hard shell finishing. As you know, the dash & upper part of the door panels have a rubber like material. I wanted to know if that could be sanded. I don't want to use fiberglass. I want to get rid of the stock look. So, what info do you have for me?

you could use something like 400 grit paper....I had planned on geting this started before I sold my sedan except I was going to paint it to a stick color....so I had done a decent amount of research on it, but then I sold the car..
![]() BTW you do know that taking that dashboard out will be a huge pain in your ass right? good luck with your project. --esteban |
