removing glow gauge to factory

I recently purchased a glow gauge to change the color of my dashboard..i had this installed by some else.
I need to take this off now to factory
any ideas how to do that do i need to take the whole dashboard apart or only the plastic area where the gauge is.ie plastic part take off needles and reinstall

any suggestions thanks
