I was wondering if someone could tell me how to remove the trim panel around the stereo in a '96 civic I tried to pop it off gently but it didn't want to come off.

there is a screw behind the hazards and rear defoger. You need to take the lower dash portion that holds the cigt. lightser out. After you have that out you have to unbolt the HVAC unit with 4 screws then disconnect the 3 wire harnesses and the hard anolog cable.. After those are out you ready to go.
