I have a carsound cat the I bought off of ebay for $90 that I put on for emission day. It's got full cat effectiveness and a real deep sound, I had no problems passing. And it's supposed to be able to flow enough for a 5.7litre engine, so on a 1.6 it's high flow enough. But I still use the test pipe anyways.
