crane cams are most def. a proven name in hp. they've got a great reputation as well.
but if you can, you can still stick with oe honda parts for just about the same gains. so i've been told. well . . lates for now. |

Theres barely a need to ask about Cranes' performance. They're one of the widest used cams in pro racing for both import and domestic. Their rep speaks for itself.
And I don't believe that you need to upgrade the valvetrain, but I do believe that while you have to head apart it's common sense to spend the extra couple hundred on it. And $527's a damn good price. |

damn, i was hoping of just having new cams put in. just a couple hundred more for valves, springs, retainers?? shit.. they should just sell kits with everything in stages.. uh, they probably do dont they... but the valve springs and retainers are another $423.00 ..... and the skunk 2 valves are another 400.. thats another $825 for the parts alone.. hottdamn. i dont think valve train upgrades are necessary for the stage 2. the stage 3 does infact require valve train modificaton. sooo.. what do ya think?? oh, and what would someone charge to install cams alone??
