ok, i have a b16a2, with AEM cam gears. i was just wondering how much i could advance or retard them safley? also, i may be running nitrous in the future. what kind of adjustments could i do with a nitrous setup?

Most people won't see any gains beyond 3 degrees either way. Make sure to redo the timing everytime you adjust the intake gear.

|
2 degrees retard for 65hp shot and 4 degrees retard for a 75 hp shot. Also when people say retard, the are refering from base timing, so where 16 degrees would be base timing, you would set the timing to 14 degrees btdc for a 2 degree retard.
