ok like some of you might know im in the process of building an b20vtec but need many more ideas that what i have stored up in my mind . what im looking for from all those who read this or to anyone that knows anything about b20vtecs

i need everything from....
bore
head gasket
compression ratio
piston maker prefered
head type ie b16 gsr itr
cam perfered or profile
block guard/ no block guard
rod type ie eagle
cam gear
oil pump
i just need to know everything that is needed to make great hp and a good amout of turque keep in mind this is my year project so prices really dont matter to me yet. just reply with a post will be great help thanks

Talk to Calesta he had a crvtec in his sedan, and had done a few different builds with it. He will probably be the most helpful in your search for the right combination.

I don't have a B20/VTEC anymore, and I never had a coupe.

sleepin- You're asking a ton of open ended questions. There really isn't a single answer to it. Read around the site some, read my personal web sit some (it's in my profile and signature), and you'll start to get an idea for what people like.

I know I meant sedan, I always do that.

And that's right you went to the b18c bottom end right? I totally spaced all that off. My bad man, my previous post was fixed.

I didn't. I went with the GSR block because it was ready to go, and was already resleeved by Golden Eagle to 84.5mm- now it's bored out to 85.5mm. The crank that's sitting in the GSR block is an 89mm LS crank, so it's still got the B20/LS/VTEC geometry.
