Nope. I've always known differently. The Y8 has a 32.8cc combustion chamber, and the Z6 and Y7 share a 34.6cc combustion chamber... at least as far as I've known.

Apparently, the specs were once listed on Crower's site.

Combustion Chamber Volume for a Z6 is 34.6 and the Y7 and Y8 ARE 32.8

Just because Crower paid someone in first yr college webdesigner or there data entry person to do there website doesnt mean there couldn't be a typo...right?

The Y7 block isn't going to yield much high compression compared to that of the D16A6 block or even the D15b7 blocks. Using an D16A6 block, your favored Y8 head, using a set of PM3 pistons from a D15B7 (92/95 dx)stock Z6/Y8 headgasket should net you 11.1:1 compression with a piston to deck height of 0.020 much better than the straight out Y8 motor of 9.6:1

Using the JDM zc pistons should bump you to the 13+ point. Either way the mini-me if done correctly is more than reliable. ive had mine for over a yr and the only issue i see is that it runs a bit more warmer, sooner.

And just because you have a B series swap doensn't necissarily put you ahead of the pack. theres still the issues of drivers ability, reaction time, Suspension setup, and weight. I find many B swaps are Frankenstien'd in vehicles either to poor judgement, salesman error in direction, and or low monetary management.

Just because Chrysler says the SRT-4 does 13.9 stock doesn't mean anyone and everyone who gets behind the wheel can do that.

ok i know your new...but stop bringing threads back from the dead, to give people incorrect information. no stock piston is ever, and i know this because this is what i do for a living, going to bring you near the 13+:1 compression mark.
