ok, i read that one can put a 1st gen integra computer in a '89 CRX. first of all, can anybody running this swap drop some info on perfprmance increace? see, i looked at the junkyard and there are 7 (!) 1st gen integra's and guess what? not one computer! so this is what i am asking what are the gains of the integra computer?
what other computers can be swapped? same era accord LXi? |

Are you asking about the cars ECU? I'm guessing that maybe you were looking in the wrong place for the ECU on the 1 gen tegs I'm pretty sure they have fuel injection and would need an ECU.
Has far as swaping it with a CRX I haven't hear of someone doing that personally but I'm sure someone has tried it. |

You did know that on the 88-89 integra the ecu is located uder the pasenger seat right?
I know that it has a little more aggresive fuel map mostly due to a dedicated intake cam and seperate exhaust cam.They work great for zc swaps.It might run a little rich on sohc but not much cause the ecu will make changes once it reads the O2 sensor. If you can get one cheap then hook it up man. ![]() |
