Here it is...

IB Spec pistons with Swain Technology coatings
IB Spec lightweight rods
85.5mm x 89mm (2044cc)
Skunk2 cam gears

Shorty intake with K&N filter
DC JDM 4-1 ceramic coated header
Carsound 2.5" cat
Greddy Evolution exhaust

Bone stock head except for cam gears, tuned with Hondata (still off some, ran out of time and we were tired as hell), through the cat and on pump gas.

As far as I've seen, this is the highest level of torque anyone's put down with a stock B16 head all motor on pump gas. You can see where the cams top out abruptly at 7000rpm. You can definitely see it on the wideband when the head stops breathing and the mixture starts to run rich.

Now I just need to pay off my debts, then get some cash for a good port/polish job, cams and valvetrain...

More details later, along with a comparison graph between this setup and my previous two builds...

Huh? The last engine made the same amount of power, and a lot less torque. The B20 died in January 2003, and the second engine that started in August only lasted 3000 miles because of bad parts choice. All engine builds were all motor.

I know he blew up his B20 racing with a C5 in third gear.

That was the B20. The first iteration in the GSR block died because the pistons overheated and hit the walls.

It's WAY stronger than the B20 was... and we're just getting started! I ran my roommate's STi (plus extra boost) from a stop to 80mph, and I pulled on him about a car and a half. He said that he hit the rev limiter in 2nd, but that I probably would have still pulled on him if he had shifted at the right time.

Very nice..

But torque is falling of so fast after 5.5k.. power does fall fast to..

Like you said though.. nothing a little head work won't fix.
