i heard a lot of b/s knockin itr cams,,i think they are the shit .u canit beat the price.i paid 500 for mine new from the dealer and i think that was the best money i ever spent on any upgrade...and the cool thing is they are factory cams made for honda motors, and not some bullshit material that will eat up your stock vavle train in a few months of driving.so if anyone is going to buy cam run with the itr 2000 year.esp if u have a daily driver like me...

They are decent cams for sure, especially for the price.

yeah they are alright cams, i like toda or skunk2's if you can afford em. Type R's only go so far, when you need more duration and lift, you have to go aftermarket.

i wouldnt touch a junk2..i mean skunk2 cam...the snout where the cam gear bolts on breaks, they cause excessive rocker wear...ive seen there springs sag/break. not worth the money. toda is good stuff...but personally i run a custom intake cam..a little more aggressive than a type r, but with lift and duration based on the fact its in a turbo motor. and a stock...gsr exhaust cam. best combo i think you can have for a turbo motor. ITR cams on turbo make really good power. hell out of gsr cams in turbo cars ive seen 650+ hp dyno's. Now granted for a stock bottom end motor...type r cams would be more than enough. they make plenty of power up top where an all motor car would need it. the only time id go to bigger cams would be a bump in compression. but then again im not an all motor guy..so i really could care less...i make plenty of power on stock cams that i dont need to worry about it anyway.

i've heard gsr cams are porbably the best cams to run on a turbo motor till you can afford some custom ones, but how many of us really need custom cams.
