bad oil..bad oil pump low oil pressure bad tune...any number of things could cause that..does it throw any codes when it does this?* what engine man. are you running that your going to get tuned?

It doesn't throw any codes.. no engine lights come on.. its a JDM type R engine swap.. with an ODB1 p28 ecu that needs to be tuned bad..

What gauges would you guys recommend getting so I can monitor the engine better? Oil Pressure, Oil Temp, Fuel Pressure, Trans. Temp, Water Temp?

isnt that the coolant bleed?

The coolant bleed is on the water neck. There is a plug like he's talking about for a pressure check tool.

Put your money in the bank, start to study and do your own research.Apparently you don't know much about the potential of your car & any of the directions that it can go. This is not meant to slam you, take it as advice. You'll be happy that you didn't blow your money! Figure out every little detail & all the lil extras that you will need.

this is funny to me...i think anyone that calls anyone else a noob for askig questions is a true noob...no mean to offend...but what exactly have you built that makes you not a noob? and dont tell me you learned everything from the text book. ill truly laugh at you for that.
sorry that this is way off topic...bet people that downgrade what people know really bother me...especially when they put it out for everyone to see. just cause someone doesnt know something about one little detail..they are a noob. please...thats just retarded. I bet i could telly ou things that you never thought were possible...and i bet you could do the same to me. my point is...you never know everything...someone always knows more then you.

now to get back on topic..what are you using to tune? that is something else i need to know...you could run an oil pressure gauge from right off the back of the block where the stock sensor goes...thats what i did...my oil feed for my turbo and my oil pressure gauge are both right there. judging from the fact that you say its jerking...i doubt if its vtec turning off and on...it would cause major jerking. unless your making good power up there. What conversion harness are you running for the p28? one of the cars that we had come in here, had a skunk 2 harness, and any time the ecu was moved it ran different. it would run like total ass one minute..then run flawless. changed the harness and the problem went away. I really need to know what type of management your using then i could get a better idea. and also..whats the motor in this car? is it a b16?

I'm not using anything to tune it lol.. I just got the car about 3 months ago.. this is the first honda I've had and I don't really work on cars at all.. the only thing I did with my previous car were breaks, oil changes and stereo stuff.. so from there I'm not sure what harness it is.. and its a jdm b18c5 engine.. I noticed today that oil is leaking it looks like from around the valve cover..
