im not positive but after reading the bottom section of the page where it says most powermax cams are designed for nitrous oxide, supercharged, or turbocharged apps i would say that the cams are designed for one of the three power adders. they kinda dont really explain it very well. that and being i have almost zero cam knowledge so the specs really just look pretty blank to me other than like the lift durations

PowerMax cams for balanced intake and exhaust flow.
Crane PowerMax camshafts have lobe patterns designed to balance intake and exhaust flow. Their unique profiles produce maximum low, mid, and upper rpm power. Many PowerMax cams are designed to maximize the effects of nitrous oxide, supercharger, and turbocharger systems. They're available in both hydraulic and mechanical lift versions. To me it sounds as if you could use it on a N/A setup or under boost. Hence it says that it maximizes the effects of Nitrous, Superchargers, and turbo.. I remember Brett stating in my nitrous thread explaining that it would enhance it. Your just of course gonna end up producing less power N/A than you would boosted thats all. |

That page is clear as mud. Get some name brand cams where you KNOW the specs and KNOW they work.

That is a better explaination of the cams, they seem like a decent mild upgrade comparable to to CTR's. From a quick glance they are a higher lift cam without a wild duration, so they would be nice for a mild all motor setup. If you plan on doing boost, keep your gsr cams, though. |

Those aren't the same cams. The part number is the same
but the grind number is different.
