It's all in the motors codes. H22= 2.2L DOHC VTEC, B18C=1.8L DOHC VTEC So, same motor options, more displacement, go with the H22 |

If I remember correctly, it weighs about 80lbs more.

I have an h22 in my 94 accord and i eat b series motors all the time, ive never raced an integra type r im sure it would beat me but other than that ive never lost to a bseries motor. and my 94 is quite a bit heavier than the 91, i have a 90 accord im about to do a swap into, i cant wait. so since the 91 is lighter, and you put a jdm h22 with 200 hp in the engine bay you will be very happy with the outcome....if you were to install a bseries you would waste a lot of money and be disappointed.

<div align="right"></div>
there is a lot of modification involved when putting an h22 head on the f22 block believe me i looked into it, even if you did do it, you compression would be very low compared to the full h22 swap. i got my complete swap shipped for 2450(motor, tranny, axels, high pressure steering pump line, ecu, and header w/downpipe) from hmotorsonline. steve is a good guy! and yes the f22/h22 hybrid would be slower! |
