hey guys does anyone know if and 2k civics were ever sold with the d16z6 engine in it? I am looking at buying a z6 to swap into my 90 si. I found a motor for a good price but i am a little antsy because i have never heard of a d16z6 being in a 2k civic but thats what he said it came out of.
Someone save me from getting screwed. Also i am planning on adding a turbo i was wondering if anyone has any comments on clutches it the centerforce dual friction worth it?
thx

Centerforce- no experience, so I couldn't tell ya.

No, the D16Z6 was not offered with the 2000 Civic EX. It was only available up through 1995. The 2000 EX comes with the D16Y8.

The kid was probably messing with you , there would be no point of putting a z6 in a 00 civic unless it was a better motor, but the new d series make more power then the 92-95 d series.

Synergy almost the same but you have wiring and emissions one is OBD1 the other is OBD2B and the y8 from 96-98 are OBD2A
