mx - if you want to get rid of it I'll be more than happy to take it.* It would be great to get another one if the one my dealer orders is wrong.

Give you $2 for priority shipping?

that's terrible man, I wouldn't ever take over someone elses project like that. I mean, I might, but not from a car dealership since they are going to sell it to you as is. At least if you had talked to the previous owner. It sounded like an ok deal, but the miles are still a tad high. Is that a picture of your engine bay? It seems to me like you are taking over someone elses turbo project.

No, the picture isn't of the car I purchased ... just a random picture that had the sensor in plain view.

The car does have a lot of miles, but from what CarFax has told me the national average driven on a '98 is about 12k miles/annual ... this car averaged a little over 15k. Plus it's a Honda, isn't it good for 200k+?

Kelly Blue Book has the car priced at $8,070 (Dealership). For a missing intake (purchased a used AEM for $50), intake temp. sensor ($18), the interior dome light lens ($14), and some cosmetic damage that will eventually be swapped out anyway ... it's not a bad deal.

Plus, it's just hard finding a stock 5-Speed Civic nowadays in a color you want for the price you want.

Btw, after snooping around the car... I can say the previous owner probably leased the car and put an intake in, an after-market radio and this god awful black racing stripe. Everything else is stock and hasn't been modded.
