at first i was thinking of swapping a b16b into a civic, but then i found out i would get more bang for my buck by swapping in a H22A. i checked out HASPORT and I know i need to get mounts and axles. is there anything else i should know about like wiring conversions, shift linkages, transmission etc. if so where the hell can i find this stuff.

interestin', still is there much that needs to be done to carry out this swap like new tranny and wiring harness conversion, or is this just a simple bolt in since it comes from the b series v-tec family

Don't listen to that guy if he thinks a B18b is going to be better than a H22.

If you want to put the H22 motor in yes you wil need the H series tranny. Also it will be a very tight fit and alot of people struggle just to get it to line up right.

suppose i go with the b18 swap, hasport makes not mention of any wiring conversions kits, i take it you use the stock wiring and leave it unchanged.

well it all depends? What car do you have now? what year and model. Yes any b series will be more straight forward then a H.
