I have an 01 Civic Ex and I have jus hit 40k, and I was reading in the manual that the fuel filter needed to b replaced at 30k. I do all my work on the car but fa some reason I cant find the damn fuel filter. Any help would b appreciated. Thanx

I don't know alot about 7th gen civics but if it's like all other civics it should be on the pass side fire wall. If it's not there just find your fuel rail and follow the fuel line it should lead right into to the banjo bolt on the filter.

well afta doin a lil more research on it i found that (if i read it right) the fuel filter is jus a screen inside the tank and a part of the fuel pump assy. but on another site i found http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/auto/j.../catdisplay.jsp when i selected the fuel pipe it showed an inline fuel filter and on the tank it shows none..... but after checkn on my car i figure it is the first of the two cuz i still cant find an inline filter

It is in the tank on the 7th gens after doing a little research, I haven't done one however. |
