Thanks alot man. At least something was right. The guy sent me a motor with a 95 stamp on the block when it was supposed to be a 96+. I phoned the place back and apparently it (His Words) "The motor was manufactured in 95 but not distributed until 96 and that's why the wiring is obd2a"
Dunno about this...

LSD test:

Jack up front end of car
Make sure you're not in gear
Spin one wheel forward
If other wheel goes forward, you have an LSD
If other wheel goes backward, you have an open diff

LSD identification (not in car yet):

Look through axle hole
Bar in middle = open diff
Nothing in middle (open all the way through) = LSD

The motor isn't in the car yet it's sitting on a pallet. i was told by a buddy at acura to look through the hole as well, except the half shaft is still in it. Im not quite sure if or how i can take it out. Although when i spin the half shaft the other side where the axle goes in spins the same way.??

im pretty sure rich is just kidding around but just incase he isn't.. with enough torque and lack of traction both tires will spin anyway this isn't a good judge of if you have LSD or not now DSL's maybe
