I have a 5-speed del slow. I want to put lucas in it (when I get it fixed). I know there is an oil-fill hole on the side of the tranny, but where exactly is that?? ...and how much should I put in?? Should I drain the oil that's in it first and put new in before I do that?? What weight oil do I use??

Any help would be great, thanks!!!

Yes there is a fill hole, it takes a 3/8" square drive ratchet to get it open. It's a few inches up from the bottom of the transmission. The drain hole is at the bottom, but still on the side housing.

Yes you should drain the oil first.

No, throw the Lucas in the trash. Just use Honda MTF or if you can't get that, put non-synthetic 10w30 motor oil in.
