i good way to check to see if your running rich or lean would be to check out your plugs certain colors pertain to certain things. a dark sooty look would mean rich whereas a dry cracked looked would mean lean. it can help a lil i guess.

yeah checking plugs, but the only way if he is running rich to get to the root of the problem is bad o2's, timing, or too less of spark (timing again), or a bad fuel pressure regulator. Could be anyone of them.

well i think i solved the problem! i did a tune up" new plugs wires" then i used lucas vavle cleaners and feul treatment. huges difference now boys. my back bumper after three weeks of not washing the car, is way better than befor. thanks for all the tips guys. this web site rocks!!!

i agree totally. just figured might as wheel read the plugs a bit. i think in a earlier post i said o2 sensor and cat and timing. i dunno dont got time to look and cant remember

i do need a new cat. i'm, getting emissions done soon so i'll find out if i need a new cat or if the 94 original cat is still good.

i know this is a lil late and it prolly wont make a difference but do you think it could be the egr valve. possibly stuck or not working properly. i dunno just a suggestion
