I seen a guy once with a really nice vintage car and he neglected to extend his exhuast pipes to go past his rear bumper. Well to make a long story short by the end of the night he ended up with a charred bumper. A group of people sat and watched him roast his bumper and laughing at him, but no one cared enough to stop him, including myself.
I wish i was there for that one, lol

I know this guy with a sick RX7, and it throws flames out the exhaust, and i asked him why and how, he said that he is just running extremly rich.

Yup, proper tuning will sometimes yield flames out the exhaust. No, you don't necessarily have to have an AFC to change your fuel mixture- you could throw an adjustable FPR in there and crank up your fuel pressure too.

Most turbocharged cars will do this without a kit..
After some highway runs to get the exhaust hot My car has been known to shoot some fire on occasion.
