i have heard alot of different descirptions on what exaclty a "frankenstein" motor is. could someone please enlighten me on this subject and finally set the record straight....

A "Frankenstein" usually refers to an LSVTEC or CRVTEC engine, in which a Non VTEC B18A/B or B20B/Z is paired with a DOHC VTEC B-series head.

Thats very interesting, i have never heard of a frankenstein motor. I guess ive been out of the loop for to long.

its just stupid slang for someone who doesnt want to tell you what they got under the hood. some kid with an itr swap was talking to me about it the other day. i was like dude its a type r engine not a frankenstein. stupid if you ask me.
