Heres the deal! I've seen some AWSOME 99-00 civic conv.s done to the front of a del sol, I need to know how to do it! My car is going to the body shop in a couple of weeks and i was hoping SOMEONE could give me some helpful info on this! I have talked to 1 person and they sd to use the del sol fenders, 99 bumper, 99 hood, and 99 lights(of course). Someone please let me know if you know how!!! |

id go with the 99-00 hood, lights, bumper, and fenders. your going to have to make custom mounts, and all. but I am sure that the shop would be able to do that. as long as you have the 99-00 parts. you might need to do a new radiator suport mount.

From what i have read and researched, you will need:
The civic fenders, hood, lights, bumper, and radiator support for it to fit right. You will need to cut the civic fenders and Del sol fenders somewhere in the center and match the rear of the Sol fender to the front half of the civic fender. You will cut and weld the fenders from both cars. Here are some pics of different conversions. http://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=797568 |

I thought the 99-00 fenders bolted up?? Maybe its the 96-98 ones.
But i know you need 99-00 Fenders 99-00 Hood 99-00 Headlights 99-00 Front Bumper Cover 99-00 Radiator Support

The oem bumpber cover was for a 96-97 front. Thats why I had to resort to calling honda because I have looked everywhere I can think of and no luck. I've searched online, autobody wharehouses and everywhere! If you're wanting a 96-97 front bumper, I'm sol on the fact that will be coming from Honda. The conv. Pics were awsome! The ITR Was aswome!
