yup might as well just swap in the z6 motor for what your gonna pay in parts for the head swap.

The Cx block isnt the best block to do this on. I would suggest either doing a full Z6 or getting a D15B7 block and a Z6 head.

no i think the best single cam is a a6 bottom end... with a y8 head.. if you read more about single cam vtec.. the ports on the intake manifold are bigger.. than a d15b or z6.. if i'm wrong.. then.. let me know.

actually your completely right, the y8 intake manifold is better, but you can fit a bigger cam in the z6 head. but then again most people dont really want a really radical cam so i dont think that matters much.

I've done b7 and a6 both with z6 heads They both run extremely well when the timing is right just make sure you have the right timing belt.I believe the ones I used had 103 teeth.And get a adjustable cam gear.
