Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have a 93 civic ex (canadian version, not nearly as fun as the USDM one) that I want to do some suspension work on. I can get the front and rear LCA's, shocks, springs, and sway bars from an 3rd gen Integra Type R. I was wondering if these are a direct bolt-on for my civic, and if this would be arecommended swap. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Chris |

if u could find them i would go with ctr suspension components.... im not really sure if the itr will bolt right on i wouldnt think that it would be without modifications for the install. why dont u just go with an aftermarket setup u can get much better suspension and it will be direct bolt on.

I was wondering if you could let me know whether any of the parts will work or not. I also posted the question on another honda site at the same time, and people said there that it would be a direct swap. So, I'm a little confused right now. Any help is great.

not direct bolt ons, if i remember right the only suspension parts from the integra that dont directly bolt are the sway bars since our civics arent prepped for them.
But as far as I can remember, any 92-00 civic and 94-01 integra are interchangable.. Somebody pls correct me if im wrong. Been a while since I did mine. |

I have a question, it may seem kind of stupid, but hey, this is the noob area so I'm going to ask it anyway. Don't the sway bars bolt onto the control arms. Therefore, if I have front and rear LCA's from an integra type r, shouldn't I be able to install the sway bars as well.

i know this guy who swapped teg rear disks onto his eg chassis del sol. He only ran into a problem with the ebrake cable. It turned out well.

everything will bolt up, it's just an issue of suspension geometry. i can't speak for EGs or EKs, but i know DC stuff on an EF throws everything out of whack.
the LCAs are your biggest concern, since they're probably longer than stock and will increase negative camber and rear toe in. and without the LCAs, you won't be able to use the shocks and struts on the rear. unless you're getting a screaming good deal, i'd just stick to aftermarket stuff made for your car.
