I bought some one piece project halo headlamp assemblies for a 93 hatch and want to make sure if I have to remove the front bumper to install them. I started the project last night and seems the dont just slide right in LOL.
Thank you in advance and have a great turkey day tomorrow. ![]() |

From what I see when putting these new one piece headlamps in, it seems the front bumper and possibly the fender have to be removed in order to get them to bolt in the factory holes. ![]() |

yes, you have to take off the front bumper. there are the 5 screws on the top of the bumper, 1-2 on the bottom side that are ten mill, and the screws that connect the bumper to the fender, and its off.

Take off the bumper. There are two screws that will be a bitch to take off if you don't. It should be pretty easy once you take it off.

I'm not really all for those one-piece projector headlights, but let's see some pics.
