Hello,
i have a 96 civic EX sedan with a VTEC engine. i would like to do some datalogging, but i think i need to mod my ecu. i dont want to make it faster or anything, already quick enough for me :-) but i DO want to do datalogging. i have the usb-serial adapter needed and just need to know how/where i solder the serial cable to the ECU (if this is indeed what needs to be done) any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Well, The first thing you need to do is convert your car to OBD 1. As far as i know you can't do shit with OBD 2. Once you conver to obd 1 your going to need some type for EFI program, Crome , uberdata, hondata ect. You also going to need to have your ECU socketed you can buy a package with everything you'll really need to tune and log CLICK</span> .

Don't bother. All you're going to do is fuck something up.
