I realize it might be old, but this is an EXCELLENT source. good explanations and details. Breaks down a ton of things and has lots of GREAT swap, turbo, and NA build info (among other things)! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/155788384...5Fencoding=UTF8 |

A shop manual i think might be too technical for some ppl. This is where this book is great since it explains basic engine components and Gives a breakdown of some common swaps. Plus i have noticed that MANY and most frequesntly asked quesations that are asked by many newcomers to the honda scene can be answered by this book. Overall i think it is a great book for noobs and for ppl who just want to learn more about there honda. Then later on they can move onto a shop manual if they choose to. |

I would also recommend "How To Tune And Modify Engine Management Systems." It's a great book that starts off by going into the basics of the operations of fuel injected and computer controlled engines. Startup conditions, sensor parameters for operation, etc. It gives a great idea of how all the sensors work together in making the engine operate properly. Then it goes into different types of popular EMS systems...great read.
