If mounts aren't coming with it, your going to need the front tranny bracket, the rear T bracket and the driver sidebracket, And the AC mount if you want to keep AC,

i'm pretty sure honda recommends premium for GSRs... you might be able to get away with regular, but i'd shell out the extra couple bucks for the peace of mind.

well that's what I was told by the dealer as well, however I dont always believe what they say. Some guy said that it would mess up the timing? what the heck does that mean?

dont know much but i always thoght that cheaper gas just ment more build up in your internal parts, cloged injecters, build up on vavles..ect
and more expensive gas ment cleaner parts
i also thoght that it depended on what you put into your engine that helped it perform
better
i use mid grade just to compermize with my car help her insides and helps my pockets
also use sytec oil
but like i said i dont know much

your not using pump gas? What are you using 110? I though you were still running stock compression, but then again you don't drive it everyday.

no, the octane rating doesn't have anything to do with any detergents in the gas. higher octane means it's more stable, so it's less likely to spontaneously ignite before the spark plug fires... that's it. does 10.5:1 compression require 91+ octane? probably not, but it's cheap insurance, which is why honda recommends it.

when the guy said it would mess up the timing, he was saying that _if_ the fuel ignites before the spark plug fires, that's called knock, which will either destroy the engine if your unlucky, or get picked up by the knock sensor and the computer will pull timing and make the car run like shit if you're lucky.

run 91 at the very minimum. you CAN run 87 if you want. the gsr does have a knock sensor. so with crappy gas in it, if/when it knocks itll pull some timing to keep you from knocking. but, youll sacrafice some power. just give the engine what it wants. 91 or better.
