Hi guys,

another noob question for y'all.

I got a buyer for my old D16y8. Only thing he has an 87 CRX.

Correct me if I'm wrong on these:

- He needs to get a 92-95 Si ECU and re-do the wiring

- I heard my tranny wont fit in his CRX

Anything else he needs to know to do this swap? either than that it should fit good.

the whole thing won't fit without a custom mount solution. if his CRX is an Si, he's got an e-series, which isn't compatible with d-series mounting locations. if it's not an Si, he's in even worse shape, since he'll need to convert to fuel injection.

Besides the fuel injector problem, if its not an Si, will the D series fit in it without mounts or will he need custom mounts regardless of what CRX he's got?

I'm not expecting too much from this guy, but if he wants to buy it he can take it.

thanks steronz

he'll need custom mounts regardless of the trim level. and by custom, i mean bust-out-the-welder custom. of course you could just sell it to him and let him figure that out
