I just got given an Integra Quint (the DOHC/FI hatch thing) c1986? Mint little thing that an elderly member of family had since about 1990. BUT, it has one of the "incredibly annoying beeping things" that turns on when you hit 105km/h. Does anyone know how to disconnect it? It drives me mental and forces me to drive with music set to a ridiculous level to drown it out. That's not as much fun as it sounds with the crappy stereo in it.
Please Help... |

You can get something like an Apex'i RSM that will send false speedometer readings back to the ECU, or figure out what kind of signal your ECU is looking for and just send whatever corresponds to 80km/h (or anything below 105) to your ECU all the time with some kind of simple homemade circuit.
