I need it for a D15 w/ d16 head. Motor has intake, header, and skunk2 intake mani. I was using stock exhuast and it rusted through and sounds horrible.
I mostly concered with sound over peformance. What size would work well? The car is roughly 2" off ground, something to consider. I did a search but just want to make sure what would sound decent, not hang low, or rub on gas tank. Thanks in advance ![]()

too many requests..
doesnt hang low, not loud, sounds decent... I'd go with stock again then?!?! Either way you look at it, it will scrape, rub and be loud for the most part. If its that big of an issue then just raise the car up a bit. But if you want a quality exhaust the Greddy SP2 might be one to consider or an Apexi WS. However I dont know if they have them for D15 motors, That you would have to look into. |

Apexi and Greddy both make exhuast for it. I trying find someone with real world experence. I know it is lot to ask...just hate bumble bee cars that are piss slow.

Greddy Evolution. The muffler tucks up into the body of the car more than almost every exhaust system on the market.

That should tell ya needed info. I am thinking y8 be lot more work electronic wise. But, not sure on that.[/color] Mine was very easy well worth time and money compared to swapping whole motor. If have anyother questions I do my best to answer or one of other memebers will surly chime in.

as soon as a posted that question I saw that. My biggest thing would be the wiring. You said the y8 would be alot more electric work. why? and what rpm do you hit your rev limit?

It'll be the same on a coupe. The Evo 2 might actually tuck in a bit more too. |
